Analogy for the Challenges of Hearing loss

Importance of Effective Communication

Notice to Patients

Dear Audiocorp Patients,

This has been undoubtedly one of the most challenging stretches of our lives, but we are thankfully starting to emerge on the other side. New Brunswick has done incredibly well to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and we are happy to announce that we will soon begin actively seeing patients again. We have dedicated the first number of days back in office to addressing issues people have been having with their hearing aids over the last 2+ months. This would include problems with wax guards, domes, batteries, moisture, battery drain, cleaning of products, changing tubing, etc. We want to make sure that those people who currently wear hearing aids will have their products back up and running properly as soon as possible.

We are blocking Thursday May 21st and Friday May 22nd for these purposes, and we may do the same thing on Monday May 25th should we need more time. You need your products working properly, especially during a time where communication is so critically important, let us do what we can to help as quickly as possible. This will be done on an appointment basis as we do not want the parking lot to be filled with large numbers of our patients as there are several other businesses nearby. We will have both front office staff and audiologists available to address the issues, so we hope to get everyone back on a proper path in a few short days 😊

If you have any need to see a member of our team for anything related to your current hearing aids, please call the Fredericton (459-1883) or Oromocto (446-3658) office to inform us of the problem and we will give you a time to visit the clinic to have things fixed on Thursday or Friday of this week. Please note that we will not bring patients into the clinic on these days. Appointments for product adjustments, follow ups, fittings, testing, wax removal, etc will all follow this first wave of product cleaning and minor repairs.

To put it quite simply, we want our patients who are having issues to get first priority of our time. We want to make sure you are all tended to properly before we begin bringing new patients into the clinic for any reason. You have all supported us for years this is one of the many ways that we want to make sure you are supported by our efforts as well 😊

So, if you need our help for any reason or if you have questions or concerns, please reach out to us and we will make sure you're taken care of as best we can. Thank you once more for your patience throughout this difficult time and I truly look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Take care and stay safe,

Trevor, Jennifer, and the Audiocorp staff

A History of Helping New Brunswick Patients

Audiocorp grew from an existing clinic originally established in New Brunswick in 1979. The first permanent Saint John office opened in 1981 and was located near the city market on Charlotte Street. The Fredericton office opened in 1983 in the Lord Beaverbrook Hotel. Audiocorp was incorporated in 1993 and relocated our office to the present location of Prospect Street in Fredericton in 2017. Our full-time audiology services were first offered in 1995. In 2012, we opened our Oromocto location on Gateway Drive.
